The Birdsboro Belt Railroad

The Birdsboro Belt Railroad is the home railroad of the Reading Car Company. Currently under construction, the BBR allows us to host invited equipment, test and evaluate production equipment and new designs, and generally have a good time. The Railroad features a great view of the former Reading Railroad between Reading and Philadelphia.

Currently the BBR is in the beginning stages and will be used to produce a series of “how to” videos regarding the building of a backyard railroad. These videos, produced by Film Crate Media, will document the construction of the railroad and provide tips for people just getting into the hobby, as well as different ideas for established hobbiests.
