Thank you for your interest in the LCRC100 Locomotive Controller. When you purchase the controller, you get much more than just the handset and loco side controller. Here’s a listing of what you get along with the unit when you purchase items you can add to your cart, and items you will need to source yourself…

What’s NOT in the box…

There are some things that you will need to operate your locomotive that aren’t in the box and you will need to source yourself…

  • Motor Controller. These aren’t included as there are several different styles and brands available that will suit your particular locomotive. The LCRC100 is designed to work with 4QD, Siren and Sabertooth and should work with any other controller with a 0-5v throttle control signal. Please specify your motor controller when you check out. If you aren’t sure, we can help you, just let us know!

  • High voltage wiring. You will need to source this yourself based on the voltage and current your locomotive uses.

  • 12v converter. If your system is more than 12v, you will need a converter as our system requires 12v to operate. These are available on Amazon or elsewhere on the net.

  • Lower voltage wiring. While we do supply the plugs you’ll need, wiring needs vary by locomotive. Our plugs ship without wire or you can have 6” leads attached for your convenience. (extra charge for this, added at checkout)

  • Circuit breakers, contactors, fuses, etc. These are not supplied, but are easily available online. Refer to your particular wiring diagram to determine what you need.
