With the Triennial approaching quickly, we wanted to announce what we’ll have going on at the big meet! We are planning to have RTR cars for sale as well as the new LCRC100 Locomotive controllers, 3D printed parts, vinyl detail decals, trucks, couplers and more. Check it out below. All items will be available at Train Mountain, then any remaining stock will be loaded onto our website for purchase.
LCRC100 Locomotive Controllers
Designed by Integral Circuits, the LCRC100 is a full-featured wireless locomotive control system. It provides simple wiring options, air brake controls, current and voltage monitoring, reprogrammable ESU v5 LokSound, ability to control up to 14 locomotives in MU (multiple unit) service with automatic speed matching and speed limiting and so much more! We will also have system demonstrations available!

Fairmont Speeders
Based on the Fairmont M19, our speeder kits have everything you need to get yourself on the rails with this fun model. No welding skills are needed, and all assembly tools are commonly available at your local hardware store or via Amazon. Kit includes battery, motor control, handheld R/C controller, motor, wheels machined to IBLS standard, 3D print shell with working forward / reverse lights and more. Weighs 23lbs, and will therefore spring most spring switches and shunt signal circuits.

Crossing Guard Basic
The Crossing Guard Basic provides basic crossing control (lights only) combined with track detection. The unit will monitor up to 200’ of track for trains approaching from either direction. Running on 9-18vdc, the unit will operate LEDs on your railroad crossing in the standard flash pattern. for 10 seconds after the train exits the detection area. Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) allows LEDs to give the look of incandescent lamps with the “fade in and out” effects.

Crossing Guard Advanced
The Crossing Guard Advanced offers more power and more features over the basic unit. Monitoring up to 3 tracks per unit (linkable to monitor more tracks), The unit offers 3 zone train detection with 2 approach zones and an “island” zone, similar to the operation of a real railroad crossing. The QBA also offers stepper motor control to operate crossing gate arms, outputs to operate wig-wag signals and externals bells, onboard bell sound effects (speaker not included). It also has an external interface to connect to a forthcoming signal system.

New from Highball Graphics are vinyl detail decals including ACI Kartrak labels, GE and EMD Diesel Locomotive Builders Plates, Diesel Locomotive detail decals, Hazmat Placards, Fire Extinguisher decals and more. Printed on high-quality 3M vinyl, these detail decals will stand up to years of outdoor use.

Coming soon from Reading Car Company is our 100 ton 3 bay hopper car! Based on the H43 class hoppers (Bethlehem Steel 3433cf hoppers), our new 100 ton triple hoppers are perfect for modelers who want a more modern hopper that showed up in the late 1960s to replace older 55 and 70 ton hopper cars. Common all across the US, these cars will look as good with PRR or Conrail decals from the east and UP, SP and BN decals in the west. Stop by the booth to see the prototype unit on display!
